The Boston-based startups are teaming up to integrate Think Board’s latest peel and stick whiteboard with Rocketbook’s image capturing, cloud connected app.
BOSTON, September 10, 2018 -- Rocketbook, creator of the best-selling, reusable, cloud-connected notebook, and Think Board, maker of the peel and stick whiteboard, today launched their collaborative “Think Board X - Powered by Rocketbook” Kickstarter campaign. The two Boston-based companies worked together to create a peel and stick whiteboard built for the digital age to boost collaboration and make idea sharing easier than ever. The campaign, running from September 10 through September 30, 2018, hopes to raise $21,500.
Think Board X combines Think Board’s flagship whiteboard film product with Rocketbook’s patent-pending, image-capturing technology, enabling users to scan the whiteboard and upload the notes to the Rocketbook app. Through the app, users are able to instantly send the scan to any of their favorite cloud services, including Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote and more. The Rocketbook app’s new optical character recognition (OCR) features work with the Think Board X, including Email Transcription, Smart Titles and Smart Search, optimizing user experience. Once the notes have been saved and sent to their destination, the whiteboard can be wiped clean to start over.
